Fall Athletes Continue to Dominate Enquirer All-City Teams
Congratulations to the remainder of our fall athletes who were named to the Cincinnati Enquirer All-City team!
**Cross Country**:
Max Sun ‘27- first team
Vanca Pandey ‘26- first team
It was an incredible season for these two runners! With incredible District performances, they both qualified for Regionals. Vanca finished 2nd, running 19:12.25 – a personal record and the second fastest time in girls program history! Max had an unreal performance, dropping 55 seconds off his personal best with a 16:42.1, which also slated his time as the second fastest time in boys program history! He finished in 5th place.
Vanca went on to qualify for the DIV State Championship Meet after she finished 12th at Regionals. Her career ended with an incredible performance at State, finishing 25th with a time of 19:18.79, the second fastest finish of her career. Vanca left everything out on the course for her final race as a Nighthawk, concluding her high school career holding 12 spots in the girls' top 25 best overall times in program history!
**Golf**:
Evan Ross ‘26- first ream
Evan had an incredible senior season. He averaged a 40.6, a team best and 6th in the MVC. At Sectionals, he finished tied for 3rd with a 79, which helped him move onto Districts as an individual!
**Tennis**:
Reema Arebi ‘27- honorable mention (singles)
Caroline Connelly ‘26- first team (doubles)
Katherine Connelly ‘26- first team (doubles)
These three helped lead the team to a 15-2 record, a program best! Caroline and Katherine finished 13-2 on the regular season and qualified for the OHSAA D2 State Championship! No better way to end their career as Nighthawks.
