Bio

Steve Conner has led varsity and middle school gymnastics programs for over 35 years. A three-time SW Ohio District Coach of the Year (2002, 2005, 2024) and two-time OHSGAC State Coach of the Year (2004, 2025), he has also earned The Enquirer All-City Coach of the Year (2002) and the OHSAA Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award (2009). Conner has guided CCDS gymnasts to several state qualifications. A 1988 Miami University graduate and former member of the Miami gymnastics team, Conner has long been involved in the sport, serving on the OHSGAC Board for 33 years and as SW District Representative since 2008. At Country Day, he also teaches Physical Education, earning the Pattison Distinguished Teacher Award in 2012, and coaches middle school football and varsity track & field.
