J. Guttman Gets First Career Win on the Mound as CCDS Throttles Clark Montessori 14-0
The Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks earned a decisive 14–0 win over Clark Montessori on April 8.
The Nighthawks scored 14 runs on seven hits, adding eight walks and 14 stolen bases to consistently pressure the defense. Jack Dougherty '29 went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, a double, and two stolen bases, while Casey Newman '28 finished 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs. Harry Freeman '27 added two RBIs, and the Nighthawks had multiple players score two or more runs, including Jaemeson French '26 and Levi Guttman '27 with three runs each.
On the mound, Judah Guttman '29 earned his first career varsity win, throwing four scoreless innings while allowing one hit, three walks, and striking out four. Evan Robinson '26 closed the game with a scoreless inning and one strikeout, as the Nighthawks combined to allow just one hit and five strikeouts in the shutout victory.
